NetApp has started Beta Program for the version 2.0 of the NetApp Virtual Storage Console (VSC) for Citrix XenServer. Register and get the code!

VSC for XenServer is a free  plugin into Citrix XenCenter and provides single pane of glass storage management capabilities from within XenCenter.

The new features in the version 2.0 of the product are:

•  FC & iSCSI storage repository (SR) provisioning, resize, destroy, dedupe management
• Host management capabilities: Apply NetApp recommended host settings for FC and iSCSI, display storage usage and dedupe savings.
• Export NFS SRs to entire subnet
•  RBAC support

The targeted use cases are:

• Citrix XenDesktop/XenApp on XenServer desktop virtualization deployments across various FlexCast delivery models
• Citrix CloudPlatform / CloudStack deployments on XenServer
• Server virtualization on XenServer.
