I am excited  that my reference architecture is published.  I had a great experience to work with VMWare team throughout the solution design, implement, test and write up.

The vSAN and Cohesity solution consolidates all file services workloads via multi-protocol access (NFS, SMB and S3) on a single platform that spans from core, to cloud and edge. This reduces the TCO drastically for enterprises as they do not have to spend on siloed infrastructure, which brings point solutions and exponentially increases the overall cost of the solution.

Software development and agility being paramount, high availability of infrastructure becomes a core requirement, with this combined solution clients can realize the benefits of a resilient file service, which provides durable and persistent file handles even in an outage scenario.

I will write a series of blogs on how to design the architecture, size the workload, the best practice and deployment.

It has been three years since my last RA with SimpliVity as a principal architect.  I am very happy to go back to my passion – building the cutting edge solutions and help our customers to succeed.
